About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and ambitious Technical Graduate to join our Food Business team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to develop a career within the food industry, gaining hands-on experience in food safety, quality assurance, compliance, and technical operations.
Working closely with experienced technical and production teams, you will support the delivery of safe, legal, and high-quality food products while developing a broad understanding of food manufacturing and supply chain management.

Key Responsibilities
● Assist in maintaining food safety, quality, and legal compliance standards.
● Support the implementation and monitoring of HACCP and quality management systems.
● Conduct factory audits, inspections, and hygiene assessments.
● Investigate customer complaints and support corrective action processes.
● Support internal and external audits, including retailer and certification audits.
● Analyse technical data and prepare reports for management.
● Work collaboratively with production, procurement, and development teams.

Requirements

Essential
● HND Food Science, Food Technology, Food Business, Nutrition, or a related discipline.
● Strong interest in food safety, quality, and technical management.
● Excellent communication and organisational skills.
● Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
● Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
● Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Desirable
● Previous placement, internship, or work experience within the food industry.
● Understanding of food manufacturing processes and retailer standards.
